It is our aim to pay out the full prize fund on the day, however from time-to-time when a competition has poor attendance, which is often down to bad weather or circumstances beyond our control, this may not be possible. On the day of competition we reserve the right to apply the following percentage calculation to advertised/published prize value* based on number of entrants in class or category:

  • 1-3 entrants: 20% payout of advertised prize
  • 4-6 entrants: 40% payout of advertised prize
  • 7-9 entrants: 60% payout of advertised prize
  • 10+ entrants: 80% payout of advertised prize

In the event there is only 1-2 entrants in categories Ladies, Vets, Juniors or Colts, Southdown reserve the right to put entrants in class.

Prize money must be collected within 3 months from competition date.
