The DT11 is Beretta’s flagship competition box lock shotgun, a gun that’s DNA is built on the heritage of the legendary DT10 shotgun that had true Olympic history. The DT11 now has its own Olympic pedigree having been used by countless Olympic athletes, including our very own Team GB Gold medallist Nathan Hales who, with a DT11 in his hands, showed the determination and focus to win the Men’s Trap event with an unassailable 48 Ex 50, setting an Olympic world record at the same time.

It’s little wonder that the Beretta DT11 is the choice of champions, these shotguns are hand finished, feature a box lock mechanism with a unique cross bolt locking system and a removeable trigger group. A little known fact is that the DT in the name of the shotgun stands for “Detachable Trigger”, the main reason for this feature is that the trigger group can be quickly and easily swapped out giving the competition shooter the confidence and peace of mind when shooting at the highest level.

The trigger, as well as being interchangeable, is also fully adjustable, so that the shooter can create their own custom trigger pull. This coupled with the super strong “V” spring mechanism, gives a reliable balanced trigger operation.

The DT11 is probably one of the most solid over and under shotguns on the market today, at its core is its solid receiver, which is CNC machined from a single solid block of specially formulated steel.

Externally the action which makes the gun stand out from the crowd, has a striking nickel-based finish, complimented with the legendary Beretta blue logo. The action which is wider and heavier than most other Beretta models, gives the gun a balanced feel with more weight between the hands.

Every DT11 is equipped with the latest stellium pro barrels that are engineered with an internal profile designed to reduce felt recoil and muzzle rise, whilst improving shot patterning and ballistic performance.
