Corks and Clays Event

We are very pleased to be partnering with Digby Fine English Wine for our first event at Southdown. Clays and Corks is a fantastic new experience where guests can spend a wonderful afternoon in the heart of the beautiful Southdown National Park.

It’s a great opportunity to try your hand at clay target shooting at an award-winning ground. The session will be fully instructed, with all equipment provided for those taking part. Once shooting has concluded, guests can relax and take in the views with a chilled glass of wine from the Digby bar, accompanied by a locally sourced venison barbecue provided by the Southdown Street Food Revolution team.

What’s not to like? A summer’s day in the countryside, trying a new sport, then unwinding with fine English sparkling wine and a superb venison BBQ. It’s a great event to bring a partner to—even if they just want to enjoy the wine!

For more experienced shooters, there will be a 30-target competition, with prizes of Digby sparkling wine awarded to both experienced participants and “have-a-go” entrants.

This is a members’ event for Digby and Southdown; however, everyone is welcome to get involved and see what it’s all about. We wouldn’t want anyone to miss out on what promises to be a truly memorable day.

Vegetarian and vegan options will be available, along with non-alcoholic drink choices.
