Welcome 2 Southdown Gun Club & Activity Centre
The Southdown Gun Club is placed in the heart of Sussex, located just north of Worthing, near Findon. Established in 1984 it is one of the largest shooting grounds in the country and is accredited with the CPSA Premier status.
Membership is not essential as we are open to all clay shooters, but being a member does have its benefits, which include valuable practice round discounts, free rounds and other special offers, which you will find, listed on our membership page.
Southdown Gun Club is a firm favourite with clay pigeon shooters of all abilities. For the experienced shooter there is skeet, DTL and our famous English sporting practice layout. With regular registered competitions for all disciplines including English sporting, FITASC, Sportrap and ABT, offering cash prizes for the high gun and all classes.
If you are new to shooting we have starter stands and qualified instructors who will soon have you confidently breaking clays. This is coupled with our activity centre where we also offer a range of corporate, stag and hen day activities which include ‘have a go’ clay pigeon shooting, quad bike safaris, mud buggies and an air rifle range.

Grand Masters Competition
We’re pleased to announce that the Southdown Masters competition, which is nationally renowned, is going to be held over 4 days from 26th to 29th August.
