The Southdown Private Clay Pigeon Shooting Experience
A typical private shoot day starts with a breakfast roll on arrival. You’ll have a chance to meet your fellow guests before receiving a safety briefing ahead of the main event.
Irrespective of experience levels, we will supply all required guns and ammunition throughout the day. Necessary safety gear will also be provided, as required. At each of the shooting positions, you’ll be greeted by a Southdown instructor who will supervise the event, offer instruction, and record your scores. The course will have been adapted specifically for your event – the targets will be laid to match the ability of the group.

Private Party Packages at Southdown Gun Club
While typical private party packages might include 30 targets, shot from five different shooting positions, we can also build in specific challenges for your group. We can suggest some tailormade private event ideas to suit the skills of your party and the occasion of the day. You might opt to supply prizes, to add to the friendly competition between your shooters!
Once the shooting has ended, your party can retire to relax and wind-down with refreshments before enjoying a delicious lunch, buffet or BBQ. Our event caterers have a range of menus to suit all requirements.
