Part Time Clay Ground Operative & Competition Assistant
We are looking for a Part Time Ground Operative and Competition Assistant to work weekends and Bank Holidays, plus ad hoc holiday cover.
The role will be responsible for setting up and managing competition days, setting up and maintaining clay targets and traps, as well as other ground maintenance tasks and actions. The role is physical and would be suitable for someone who understands or has experience of clay traps and how they work, as well as previous experience, or a willingness to learn about target setting and running clay shooting competitions.
The role will be part of, and working closely with, a small, friendly and welcoming team consisting of our Groundstaff, Admin & Reception and Café staff.
The successful person must be reliable, efficient, hard working, physically capable, and most of all, enthusiastic and willing to muck in and help within a small and busy team. As well as this you must be great with people – our members and customers want a friendly, welcoming and professional face when they come to Southdown.

PAY
TBC – dependent on experience
HOURS OF WORK
7.30/8.00am – 4.30pm in winter/5.30pm in summer.
Weekends (Saturday & Sunday),plus Bank Holidays, extra days over Xmas and ad hoc holiday cover

Southdown Gun Club & Shooting School, Muntham Farm, Northend, Findon, BN14 0RQ
MUST HAVE
Own Transportation (due to location)
Previous experience in a shooting club environment advantageous
